The Championship for the McCleod Cup will be decided
Over 36 holes, played off scratch.
The runners-up will receive the Watts Salvers.
There will also be handicap prizes.
No pair may take more than one prize
Eligibility:
The competitor must be of amateur status and a member of a club affiliated to the Suffolk Golf Union or born in the County of Suffolk and not have taken part in any Championship of or represented any other County in the previous 365 days
Entries close on Friday 16th April 2010
Competitors withdrawing within 72 hours of their publishes starting times may forfeit their entry fee unless they can confirm a suitable replacement
Competitors will be expected to play 36 holes on the day
The wearing of tailored shorts and white sports socks will be allowed provided they do not infringe the dress rules of the host club. The use of a distance measuring device will be allowed provided it does not give any other information.
The use of non-conforming clubs will not be allowed in SGU competitions
The Committee may refuse to accept an entry without stating a reason
and it’s decision will be final. If the event is over-subscribed, entries will be balloted
